I’d never really thought about it before but as I watched people throw out old furniture, change curtains etc. I realise that there is something special and significant about this time after Easter.
Christian or not, it really is a time of rebirth and new beginnings. So what would it be like if you could say goodbye to the old you and welcome a new you into your world, into your shoes. Perhaps it is not always about changing the situation, maybe it is more about changing you in the situation.
Actually that’s not a bad thing, given that the only thing we actually have any control over is ourselves this should be an easy choice.
So given that yesterday has passed and today is a new day, the question is who are you choosing to be?
I am thinking long and hard about the new me so watch this space as I will soon be presenting her to the world.
