I am excited about sharing a little about myself with you because I can finally say that I get it. I understand myself a little bit more and I know that there is yet more to uncover and am looking forward to the journey.

I see myself as a Divine Original handcrafted by God and I am finally ready to celebrate that uniqueness and if you haven’t done so already I encourage you to do the same

So back to me and why I am so excited. I have finally connected with my purpose and mission (well what I believe it is anyway) and I am excited about sharing it with you. My purpose/my mission is to touch, move and inspire people to be more of what they have been called to be and to laugh a lot more along the way. More about that will be revealed as you connect with me through The Divalicious Times and my other projects.

I was exactly 11 months old when John F Kennedy was assassinated and my mother often shared this historical fact with me. Why, I’m not entirely sure but the more I look at the man and his words I am convinced there is something important for me to learn there.

So who am I, good question and one I ask myself often!

My name is Carole D Pyke (I have included my middle initial in honour of JFK and the fact that I read somewhere it was a powerful thing to do) and to the world I am known as an author (I am listed in the American Library thingy), an inspiration, trainer, facilitator, coach, journalist, marketing specialist and I’m certified to make you laugh (that’s another story).

I believe that life is an epic adventure and I am an intrepid explorer. I love to travel and have dabbled at travel writing. I greet each day with a smile and embrace it as fully as I can (most of the time), recognising that the enjoyment of life really is in the small stuff.

My love affair with words began at a tender age. As an only child pen and paper where my constant companions and I soon discovered the power of my tongue and all of the many splendored things it could achieve.

My strengths lie in communication and inspiration and I take my roles seriously, working with people at all levels either on an individual basis or in groups. I pride myself in being able to communicate and inspire people where they are in a language that they understand.

My delight comes from encouraging people to enjoy life and make the most of their skills and abilities because I truly believe that if we would only get out of the way, our lives would be more fulfilling and rewarding and that there really is inspiration in life’s ordinary moments.
